Ember silence• Show poetry

My name is Ember Silence. I play guitar and listen to music obsessively. I have a wonderful boyfriend, Brandon. My family calls me Courtney, but I go by Ember; me being a Wiccan, and Ember Silence being who I am. I am in love with life, but not myself. I come from an abusive family and never really had the balls to ditch. I am a Future Marine, a Marine Pooley, and I guess that was the easiest way to leave my life behind. I am a writer, obviously, but I am also a photographer and I seem to be able to help people understand themselves. I'm pretty decent in psychology, and I'm an extraordinary massage therapist. I just wish I could ease my own tense muscles. I'm pretty open about everything about myself, and I won't hesitate to tell you about my drunken family and our arguments. I fall in love easily, anyone who can make me laugh and understand my love for certain things.
I am eighteen, obviously. My favorite band is Our Lady Peace. My favorite guitarists are Jack White, Zakk Wylde, and Dimebag Darrell Abbott, and Mike Shinoda. (yes I know he is the rapper for Linkin Park. He's also an amazing writer and artist, and guitarist)
My favorite bands are Linkin Park, Fort Minor, Mushroomhead, Dir En Grey, Regina Spektor, Damian Marley, Bush, Dashboard Confessional, etc.
