Hey y'all.

My name is David, affectionately known as Davey or Dave. :-P If you really don't care about me, please skip on passed this next stuff describing who I am. lol.

I grew up in Houston, Texas, lived there for ten years.

Unfortunately, I lost most of my accent but I still say y'all and people never fail to point that out.

I am a very spiritual person, and I also believe that we need to work more to unite people of all faiths, for we are all children of God. Instead of arguing over petty differences in religion, we need to notice the themes uniting all of us, the faithful and the faithless. At times it is hard to recognize God or at least keep Him my number one priority because of my hectic lifestyle but I try.

I write poetry a lot to vent when I am upset or extremely happy. It really helps to relax me, though I'm just starting so I am still not very good at it. lol.

I can't stand the thought of something I did upsetting anyone else and I always try to repair whatever damage I inflicted.

I absolutely love kids. I babysit all the time and am volunteering at Glendale-Fielbach Preschool right now.

I try to help others when they need help or at least comfort them when they are hurting.

I am extremely interested in child social work and am looking to work in child welfare and continue working with kids as a career and hopefully get a masters degree in social work and child counseling.
