I am a writer. I write what my heart tells me to. I write what I feel I need to. I write simply because I love it.

I personally do not see myself as a poet. I am a general writer, but I am not an accomplished poet and probably never will be, which is something I'm fine with. I'm a novelist and a journalist at heart and I struggle with poetry, but it's always interested me so it's something I plan to work on.

I am always happy to talk to people and read others' work.

I am open with myself and others--or at least I try to be.
