What is truth?

There is no specific or universal definition for this word.

We are all subject to our own perceptions of things. Our perceptions are affected by our experiences and the specific ways in which our individual minds work.

Art has this same quality; this beautiful ability to impact each and every one of us in a different way. It gives us the gift of interpretation; of perception.

Because art, in all its forms (poetry, prose, music, painting, theater) posesses this gift, it is my wish to leave any reader with little to no definition of the symbolism used in my writing. I leave it up to others to interpret my text exactly how they see it, or further, if they so choose [to delve beneath the surface].

  • Pale yellow light flushes the room like artificial sunlight,
Dancing across fake wooden chairs and strewn papers

Piled like stress into mountains of Dust,
