Hey, Skittles here, grabbing life by the horns. I believe that life is too enjoyable to stay inside all the time. You just need to get up from where you are staying and really experience it, take it to the max, and never be ashamed of the decisions that you made, be/c those decisions have helped shaped who you are.
Poetry is art in the form of rhythme and cadence in words. The song with our music, its in the deep angesty of our totured souls to the laughter in our twinkle,in the eccentricity of our mystical worlds, to the divinity of our passions, the lust of our hearts, to the beauty of our mind.

*Eloisa To Abelard -by Alexander Pope*
How happy is the blameless vestal\\\'s lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray\\\'r accepted, and each wish resign\\\'d;
Labour and rest, that equal periods keep;
"Obedient slumbers that can wake and weep;"
Desires compos\\\'d, affections ever ev\\\'n,
Tears that delight, and sighs that waft to Heav\\\'n.
Grace shines around her with serenest beams,
And whisp\\\'ring angels prompt her golden dreams.
For her th\\\' unfading rose of Eden blooms,
And wings of seraphs shed divine perfumes,
For her the Spouse prepares the bridal ring,
For her white virgins hymeneals sing,
To sounds of heav\\\'nly harps she dies away,
And melts in visions of eternal day.

I was not planning on having to let go so soon I waited forever, hoping that our lives would become attuned

Walking in the room and thinking that it’s just a shame… / That I walk into the classroom & don’t know anyone by name. / My professors think I am way too smart and they all just hate my guts. / But couldn’t really give

There was no mistake in how they were meant to be…. / It was a romance in bloom; clearly a passion to see. / So pure was the affection in her eyes, he knew that it had to be true. / So he kissed her gently and told her

To my daddy, who I watch from heaven above, / I’m sending you a message filled with nothing by love. / I know that you’re sad because you can’t be with me. / But everything has a purpose and this is the way that it has

tlsledge on October 20, 2005I love Poe also, he was my relative. My great grandmother was a Poe. I have written The Return of Poe, Patti Lou, and The Breath Of Hell. Read them and see if they remind you of any poetry or story by Poe. I am not comparing myself or my writings to the master.
