Hi everyone,

Today, (July 15, 2008) I changed my AP name From Dora7 to Poeticlove, I hope you like my new name. Yessa! Today is also a brand new fresh start for me, I have turned over a new leaf, and am going to remember who I am, and who's I am. YAY!


I'm an adult woman from USA. I am a tomboy type person. I love being on a farm, but love going to the city too.
My fav's:
Scary movies, disaster flicks, weather, survivorman, millionaire, debates about doctrine - non-hostile, of course.
color: I don't have one, I love them all. If someone forced me to choose, it would have to be RED.

Female actor- Jody Foster, Julia Roberts
Male actor- Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins

Music. I love everything I can understand and dance to.

I love:
walking/playing/being in the rain, fishing, swimming, poetry, reading, dancing, of course.
God, Jesus and the bible (Yup, I'm one of those)

I love dogs and cats and horses and cows.

I LOVE children, I have four, 2 boys 2 girls.

I love people, although there are times when I like animals better than I do human beings.
I love sitting around campfires toasting marshmallows and drinking, Beer or hot chocolate.

I love to read and write, I have lots of poems that are not on AP yet. I love reading all kinds of books, but not "porny" types.
I have 4 stories started, all fiction
I also love storms and the sea.

I am a sensitive and passionate person. I love to love, and I love AP

My passion is poetry - I like it all, I love rhyme best, IF it's not too forced, forced rhyme drives me up a wall, if you have to rack your brain for a long time to rhyme something so that it makes sense, write it free style, just a little advice- forgiveness--please

I've been a member since oct. 2007, but have been pretty much inactive untill about May of 2008, not wanting to mess anything up and all, but I have been really nosey, scouting everything out. I am addicted to this site.
I like entering contests, it's just plain fun.

I would like to say that my poetry , most of the time, is not about me or a true image of me, I become someone else when I write, however, I have acually lived in some of the situations I write about. I have been homeless (from age 15 to 18) when I was able to get a job and an apt. I have been abused in every way possible but have used the experiences to become a better person, rather than revengeful. I lived with a man who beat me terribly, and now finally I have a peaceful life. My first husband starved my children and myself, untill the state stepped in and rescued us.
I once protected a woman and her 2 children from an abusive lifestyle, and her husband tried to kill me with a gun, he shot at me four times, he missed and shot himself when the cops showed up, his wife and children were in my cellar hiding.

I have lived a very tramatic life, and hope I am the better for it. I so love my peaceful life, at last! I guess I wrote this so those who read my poetry can understand that I love people and thats why I can put myself into their situations, I've been in most of them but not anymore, well mostly anyways

I'm somewhat computer illiterate, don't know how to post stuff here and there, etc... so this is it for now. love to you all, Dora7 UM...Poeticlove.

I'm back. I just read a comment on a girls poem, not very flattering, to say the least. The comment was rude and obnoxious, 'no point to it,' 'didn't get it' etc...I will never understand the need for some people to be *bunnies*.

Unkind people

Arrogance but their really just full of some people think their already perfect, and never do anything wrong, just ask them! And when you catch them, they refuse to admit it. Don't you hate that?

I don't paticularly agree with the gay lifestyle, and I hate abortionism, however, I don't think anyone should be mean to anybody for the choices they make. I have lots of Gay friends and friends who have had abortions. Being mean and getting on a high horse isn't going to make them change their mind, I believe in God to the deepest core of my soul, which is why I like being kind, HE wants me too and even if I didn't believe in God, I would still be nice, and not mean, because its just plain foolishness to want to hurt someone.



I think if I hadn't had God beside me in my whole life, especially my childhood,
(a horror story) See my poem: (THE HAPPY BOX) I never would have survived. I will always love and believe in him, he truely is my savior in so many ways.

An elderly woman I know told me she was upset and scared of a guy who had just moved into her apt. building. She went on and on because he is a Gothic, has a tatoo on his face, wears lots of rings, ( body and face peircings) has a blonde/black partial mohawk. I told her that I have known Greg since he was a little boy, and he was the nicest, most respectful person she would ever meet. A few weeks later, she told me he has been helping her carry groceries, laundry, etc... You really can't judge a book by it's cover.

I have a brand new AP Daughter, her name is Hannah, her AP name is Zannah, and I call her REDBEST because she is the best red head in the world. She is 14 years old and will be a freshman this year, she does very well in school. She believes in God, but, as she says, 'has a few issues" Redbest has a brother and two sisters, one of which is a twin, isn't that fantastic? She is a twin!!!
She loves penguins, her favorite color is green, and she loves the # 2. She lives in NY with her family. She has written many wonderful poems, and has won trophies.Please check them out!!!

I have a ferrel community, What that means is I take care of stray and abandoned cats and kittens. I feed, water, pet, love them. I take them (all) to the vets when needed. I get them spayed/neutered, de-fleaed, wormed, etc... They have their own catbarn which we built for them, they also come in the house if they want to. I love cats. There are 36 of them. I have one small blonde beautiful Dog named LUCKA, Lucka and all the cats get along famously, I think Lucka thinks he's a cat.

Update on cats: Well, the number just went from 36 to 39, Clarice just had kittens about a month ago, I finally found where she hid them, so adorable, She must have missed the boat to the spay/neuter clinic.
8/18 2 male ferrel[wild] tom cats found a home, a farmer in chester. They will be very happy there.
Another 8 mo. old kitten, pretty, has also found a home. I have one baby kitty that is very sick, abby, I don't think she's going to make it. I'm so sad.
