im getting there!!! slowly but surely! i can see the end of the tunnel and the begining of the light
iv'e been though hell and back with obsessional thoughts and patterns (pure o) coming to terms with childhood domestic violence and through teenage years. But i am healing! its been a bloody long and painful time but i am healing!!
I am part of the Young Womens Support Network and we have just published a book entitles 'They Underestimated Us!' this book is aimed to inspoire other women to heal and that there is help out there, we portayed facts and dispelled myths. it full of our art work , our stories and our poems about domestic violemce and sexual abuse.
1 in 4 women expereince domestic violence.
2 in 5 women expreience sexual abuse.
we need to get this message out there! that people are not alone and that there is help out there anc you can heal. x
