sometimes i plagiarize the poetry hidden in his elliptical irises, because the only poetic thing i can think of is his name.
i had a dream about you once.
we were standing in a field and your skin was glass.

an online survey once asked me the question 'who are you? in less than 255 words.
i'm the girl who shines flashlights at the sky and wonders if people in norway can see it. i'm the girl who pulls at grass because i'd feel helpless if nobody else felt the way i did, the girl who writes stories about trips past the milky-way and tries to legally change her name because idon'tknowwhoiam but i don't stop trying to figure it out anyways. i'm a nuclear show with no stars, and a parachute with no strings. i collect ripped out pages of library books and add food-colouring to white-out so i can use it as nail polish. i live in the sky but don't how to fly, and i cut out the letter L in every article of the newspaper, just to for motivation to find the one person who would cut out ucretia for me.
