My name's Emma.
I usually write poetry when something exceptionally awful happens, for example a break up or an arguement. I find it much easier to vent using poetry than moaning to people about my problems. I like being creative in a angry state of mind, because that's when my "good" poetry normally writes itself!
I only started writing poetry about three years ago, and to start with, I wasn't that great at it, but now, I've been faced with many a learning curve, and had to endure the worst three years of my life, thus spurrning me on to write such depressive poetry! I can write happy things too, but I'm best at writing the "dark stuff".
I'm loud, I'm reserved, I'm generous and selfish. To be perfectly honest, I'm a walking contradiction. I live my life on the edge, I rather like it that way x
I love having a laugh, and making people feel at ease. I'm quite a good listener (I hope) and I love to read! I love my Stephen King books, I've read most of his stuff, but I'm getting into James Herbert now. He is brilliant, and I'm currently reading "The Fog", which is absolutely awesome. I can't put it down!
