But anyone who knows me well enough/is a good friend calls me Em!

I am a new member to this site and am hoping to meet some new people!
I am struggling with depression and self harm and my poems are generally an attempt to express how I'm really feeling, I suppose writing is my outlet.
I would appreciate any feedback and get in touch! x

I have an amazing sister who has kept me going through some challenging times and i have a great set of friends who have stood by me throughout, even though i put them through so much crap. I love my music and it has the ability to take me away from everything that's going on. I am beginning to realise how lucky i am to have the support network that i have and want to say a huge thank you to the following people:

My family first and foremost--my parents and my best friend of a sister Lucy
Alice, Flik, Becca, Rosie, Fran, Claire, Chloe, Tash and Alex--you learn who your real friends are when things get tough.
Mrs. Scott---there through thick and thin, i have a lot to thank her for.

And of course my Cygnet Crew--Ross, Alex, Nicole, Josh, Anne Marie,
As well as 3 people who really impacted on my stay there--Kerry Ann, Jackie and Karolina (who i hope i will never lose touch with)
