I am a young Canadian musician and student, and, at the time I'm writing this (August 2005), I'm new to the spendid world of online poetry.
Warning: My poems don't rhyme! Also, I seem to have embarked on this great quest since joining Allpo to go out and rid the world (or at least the online literary English world) of *Spelling Errors*. It is my feeling that writers should know how to spell, and if they don't, they should have a reliable spellchecker. If this makes me a pretentious ass, so be it. If you notice any spelling or word usage errors in my poetry or comments, for God's sake please tell me! How embarrassing would that be... Well, on with the show.

Stella Shall on September 14, 2005I have to laugh at the spelling blurb, I was always a really good at spelling as a child and absolutely hated to make a mistake and I would get really annoyed with people who didn't know how to spell a word correctly because I thought they were just being lazy. I used to write my dolls names in all my books when I was four. Anyway don't know why I told you that it just reminded me. (God I hope I haven't made a spelling error now)

jantastic on September 8, 2005Nice to see somebody else points out spelling errors. I get tired of reading a dozen or so comments about how wonderful a piece is when it has errors in grammar or spelling and not a soul points it out.

AureateCorona on September 3, 2005Hello and welcome to AP! I know you've now been here for a few weeks but i just noticed your poetry now... and since you haven't been here for years, damn all if i'm not going to go ahead and welcome you (three weeks belated)! anyway, I saw your contest and noticed that you speak German? were you born in Germany or did you simply aquire it as a second language? Are you fluent or do you simply dabble in it? I'm very curious because I took German in school and the language is beautiful to me... so is Italian but I can't seem to pick that up like I did German. I'm sorry to ramble to you lol... i'm sure you have other better things to do... so Auf Wiedersehen!
Nie schreibend Halt, besonders auf Deutsch!!
Kerri
