I am told I write in a Romantic style. I guess, I don't know, don't want to know. I write snapshots of life about things that move me... I'm a story teller. I like that poetry communicates so much with so little, but I want more meat on the bones than a lot of minimalists modern poetry. I studied my craft, caring for trees, with lofty goals of being a great guru, problem solver. I learned to my sorrow, ultimately how little I could do and learned to see all the flaws in the trees around me. I can talk for hours about a tree, even a split piece of firewood and I see the threads of truth there that apply universally to life, relationships, energy. The world around us is subtly ordered in sophisticated but hidden ways. See the website goldennumber. net. I believe the evidence for a personally involved creator is overwhelming, if you look in the right places. My poetry is a touch point with that creator, the way his creativity is expressed through me. I have magical things happen, knowledge I could not have known, shapes I didn't plan manifest in my writings. Poetry is my passion, a hobby and I don't want to mess up what happens by trying too hard to understand it.
