I'm retired after forty years as a traveling man. When I quit the road I gave all my suits to the Salvation Army and bought a couple of t-shirts and a pair of jeans from KMART. I've lived for the last few years with two old scruffy dogs named Sweetie and Jack. I write short vignettes in verse and short stories and when I'm not trying to be creative the dogs and I sit on the front porch and watch the grass grow. Recently I've developed an interest in song writing which is poetry but far less structured.
