Cogito ergo doleo
Every reality must start out as a dream. This is the first step in all of creation. The second step is communicating the dream so that others, as well as yourself can live the beauty of it. The third, and most challenging step is the action itself. This is where the most impact is made. These are the three general steps for all of creation, whether it be writing poetry or creating the universe. Why only three steps? Because God is a three part being, because three is considered divine. Three makes a trinity, and if you look at the rules defining our universe, it is governed by trinities. The poet speaks these rules, whether knowingly or not, whether clear or unclear. It matters not what the poet writes, but what the writing defines as part of a greater being. In definition there are three kinds of writers, those that focus on the optimistic part of life, those that focus on the pessimistic part of life, and those that choose to remain neutral. You, the reader of this site, will find me in the deep end of pessimism. I am not a pessimist. I chose the writing style to further define the craft in a dark way, to offset the flowers and butterflies. You and I..we are a part of the balance, both in life and writing. Neither of us wrong, we just define the same thing differently, and, in viewing one another's definition, we come to understand our own.
