The following poem is a dedication to the genius of
my main man Thelonious J. Monk. Hope you enjoy it.
Round Midnight!
So primitive
as days long gone by.
He soothes the savage beast
with the quickness of his fingertips
and that glimmer in his eyes.
Ice melts in sweet tranquility
as ebony and Ivory make love
on a bed of symphonic delight.
The vibrations of sound
trembles in the wind
as the virtuoso conjures up
quiescent melodies of rapture.
Cool as a summers breeze
infiltrating daunting images
of frustration that clamor
in the pit of discontent.
The wizard of oneness
splits time into rhapsodies
of grandeur.
As jaded hearts repair on
the wings of angelic genius.
The table is laid in satin gold
as palates are pampered with
cherry jubilee tunes overflowed
in Ala mode.
Violet lights shimmer like crystal
As velvet waves of ecstasy
refract catatonic seizures
of depression.
Laughter dissolves occult like
tremors as tender laced blues
whisper shades of sweet harmony
in a dream scape oasis.

The fog veils the light of truth until
the wind of wisdom blows and the sunlight
of enlightenment opens the eyes of slumbering
fools drunk on cheap ass wine.

gifts in writing and art.
I also play the drums occassionally.
I love music, especially R&B,Jazz and Pop.
I enjoy watching movies aswell as reading
a good book.
I'm best in a one on one situation but also
enjoy group settings where the atmosphere is cordial.
I believe i'm a very good conversationalist.
My friends feel comfortible coming to me for
advice and guidance.
I love romance and being intimate with the
one i'm with.
I try to be a devoted person which people
