Writing poems started when my husband was mentally ill and life was very traumatic for us both. Some of those years are in my poems.
I have been a widow for nearly 32years.
I'm a loner who loves people, but at a slight distance. When I go on holiday the places I visit talk to me and I write about those experiences.
I now have an AP family - a very new venture for me which I am loving, even if I can't remember their names all the time.
mistic moonlite was the first to invite me into her family and, because I'm an old person, we decided I could be a deputy grandmother. She calls me grams. So does her AP sister sunny day and her AP brother Starhiker and his wife Monchi. I now have granddaughters Laura Lamarca and Foreverlluv. I seem to have lost or misplaced two sons but have found my daughter ShellyA again.
masterblaster introduced me to the site - we've known each other for many years and we have a duty to each other not to play favourites in our comments. So we don't.

FransB : I keep crossing your on June 21comments, and thought to take a peep at your AP page. I jut love what I read. 82 is a wonderful age, and you have my respect. This may sound stupid to you, but I have a great regard for those that have reached this age, and often wish I could sit at there feet to learn from them. Please forgive my stepping the boundaries.
