CoyoteShow poetry

I've been writing poetry for over 30 years, off and on (mostly off) and at best, my style is inconsistant. I am not schooled in the classical styles of poetry, but I do what I can. I also write song lyrics and short stories, and articles for select publications. I hope to have a few of my pieces published if I can find a willing publication. I love old cars (pre-smog) and like to keep them running. I love music, coins of the world, and I collect record albums. Again, my style is inconsistant. I change as befits the poem-subject, and also just over time.
I know there are more than a few veterans on this site, and obviously they write poetry, also. Since poetry should include passion (usually), and also since war is a passionate subject, it should be written about and read, and readers should feel free to offer comments, good and bad, just like any other work. The way I see it, if you don't want others tostate their opinion, don't put it out there. That said, please feel free to critique my work as I will yours. Thank you.
