I came up with the idea of creating a contest for each major category posted here on allpoetry. The first, I decided to do love, as it was around Valentines day. This one, I've decided (along with my dear judge Adam) to do dark writes.
Dark poetry means something different to each person, so you enter whatever you feel/believe to be dark poetry.
The Rules::
+ Enter as many times as you like (100 if want!)
+ Prewrites allowed and encouraged
+ Swearing/erotica etc is allowed, as long as you label entries correctly
+ Less than 50 lines preferably, but this isn't a rule
+ Tell your friends.
+ We will get round to commenting you, but we don't know exactly when, so be patient.
Points/trophies will go up! I imagine they will both go up quite a bit.
Oh and I'm hoping to get at least 200, but more is perfectly acceptable.
Alongside me I have Adam (M a r l u x i a) judging so you will either get a comment from Adam or myself, or both of us.

Hi and thank you all for entering the contest! A lot of unique entries here and a vast array of different interpretations of 'dark'.
However Adam & I decided to pick 4 winners [I think we are both picky on our dark writers]. So if you are one of the 4, well done! That really is something.
If not, it doesn't mean we didn't like your write, we were just looking for something that truly moved us.
