hello,
If you're like me, you could care less what # contest of mine this is. Be warned, I am aware of all clever little poetry ticks!
This contest is rather complex; depending on the # of points I obtain with in the time and the # of entries received, there may be 2 rounds.That's in the air for now!
This is what I'm looking for!-mind you, no imposter's!-
Poetically thought provoking works of art- POETRY-that gives us a glimpse of the world through your eyes...
Examples are useless; be unique...be creative...be daring to go further than the boundaries of your imagination. Show me the world in your eyes!
How?: Everything from dark writes to humorous poems, haiku's to lyrics.All forms welcome!
Options: show me the world in your eyes through:
1] a piece about a significant struggle you continuously face.
2] a piece about pain. If you dare to 'describe" physical pain, go on and amuse me.If you write about emotional pain, I want to feel it... anything you can conjure up.
3]describe inspiration as you see it. What/Why/How does something inspire you. I want to jump with inspiration!

4] give me a piece like a puzzle from any experience.THOUGHT PROVOKING !!! (*cough* metaphors *cough*)
5]take your AP username and write a theme about it-why is it YOUR name? or you can continue the fun-write a piece for an AP hero or friend.Why is it so?
6] what do you view ____ as? Beauty,war,hate,frustration... any emotion or idea that echoes like a theme song in your little world.
7] paint me a picture of the poet with in. Not like what you look like- I could care less.Appearances mean nothing!
8] write a letter to yourself explaining....something-be creative. make it fit into your own mind.
9] write a piece about what motives you and why.

No-profanity,adult/erotic content, no suicide,no cutting,SOME gore is ok, If you must write a romance piece, don't make it cliche or sappy crap.-follow or be disqualified
maximum of 2 entries this could be changed - check up on it
please be courteous to other poets.Don't tear them to tears with clawing comments.COMMENT AT LEAST TWO OF THE OTHER ENTRIES AND NOTE IT IN YOUR AUTHORS NOTES!

Darn, if this allowed prewrites... I gave up writing for contests a while ago, I found I couldn't stay true to the topic, and it became about something else, because I couldn't find the passion in virtual points.
But I love the ideas, and you should get some interesting entries...
