welcome to another DARK contest! my 26th on this site!
christmas is over but the many presents we may have gotten will last throughout the year (and in some cases many years). this brings me to my days when i was a teenager about one particular christmas. i was at my uncle's house and there was a game i got to play called "DARKtower." it was an addictive game. i search for almost a week and several hundred miles with many stores, only to find a true value store to have one that was just down the street from me. i never once thought that a hardware store would ever carry such a game. i found it by accident when i had finally given up my search. the only reason why this came back to me was due to a radio show a few weeks before christmas talking about the games that were played growing up.
that's what this contest is all about. tell me about your favorite game from years past and/or what it may be now. i remember that "DARKtower" became the game that the whole block started playing once they were introduced to it. so now you know what to write about. there are not too many requirements or restrictions in this contest with the exception what is listed as such. have fun talking about your fun in the past and/or present.
if you have any questions concerning this contest, please make them as a comment to this contest and i will answer in a reply. this should be done in case others have the same question.
guess itz time for some rules.
1. no pre-writes (if i did this, it wouldn't be a personal invitation to a contest from theDARK1).
2. one entry per poet.
3. any style/any form (length is not a problem...do what you want to do and how you want to do it...as long as you comply with the other rules too).
4. you must meet the requirement as listed in the body of the contest.
5. closing date will be january 20-31(somewhere in this time frame), 2005. note: if you procrastinate you may end up watching as i will close this contest at my leisure of the dates specified to ensure i am the JUDGE of my contest!
6. i will comment on every entry (it could be during or after the contest closes for judging).

*tilts head* is that the game where you need to find the 5 bells and burn the towers down? If so i have that game...and it was frustrating cause i couldnt figure out where to go and kept dieing. Evilness... umm..i think it was for the nintendo if that helps lol

tasha, i'm not thinking it was the same thing, but i could be wrong i guess. i know it was more a role playing/electronic game. it took like 6 or 8 d-size batteries. it cost me a fortune in batteries. the game was played for about three years and put in a closet to be seen never again. thanks for the wonderful comment, luvya, DARK.

I must say this was a lot of fun. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to enter because I didn't want to give my secret away but Oh well cat's out of the bag now, " I don't want grow up!" I can be a kid at heart forever if I want.
