**This contest is for the Teen Depression Group Only**
First of all, Id like to thank the mentors who donated the points to help me start this contest.
Okay teens, by joining this group you show a great amount of strength by saying you want our help. And I applaud you. This contest is just for you, and Id really like it if you all participated though its not mandatory Id like it if you just tried.
What this contest is about- I want you to look in the mirror, not just any mirror, a full body mirror, and tell us (when I say us, I mean the mentors) what you see, what you LIKE and dislike about yourself. I want you to think long and hard about this. I want you to tell us what you want people to know about you and what you would like to change about yourself. Open up, as much as you can to us, we don't bite.
As for judging- I know you're thinking “You're a mentor, you'd choose your teens as winners” Err.. wrong. I'm asking the mentors to read through all the poems, send tell me which ones they like the most, and then Ill tally them up and the winner would be picked that way.
--Rules--
1) No cussing (it really takes away from poetry)
2) No prewrites
3) Nothing suicide (I know its hard)
--Now that wasn't so hard was it--
Ill be giving away points to second and third place as well. Those points will be announced as the contest closes.
--On a side note--
Now that I'm running a contest for the teens I would like to get one running for my fellow mentors and possibly another contest for the teens but I'm sort of short on points, so that’ll be postponed until I get on my commenting streak again. And any donations will be posted in the final notes.
**Due to confusement.. Please Read!!!!**
This contest is only for those who have already applied for the group "Teen Depression" Ive deleted a couple of poems already because I do check and make sure that the poet is in that group and has a mentor.
