Ok so this is my first contest *rock hands*. I decided to do it on The Rasmus: Dead Letters. Below I'll give you clips of lyrics from them and I want to you to put one clip in your poem. Here's the rules *don't you hate them?*:
1/It *has to* make sense. I don't want it to just be randomly in there.
2/Cuss all you want; just don't put your poem in an adult category.
3/Personally, I love dark and depressing, but happiness is welcome.
4/Sorry. No prewrites. Besides, I doubt you put these lyrics in your poem on normal occasions.
5/There's no limit. Enter as many as you'd like.
6/You don't have to put anything special in your author's comments. I'd appreciate it if you'd explain what your poem meant in general or meant to you. And put what clip you chose.

I love Rasmus, myself...but I am in no mood to do any writing...I shall probably join at some point however, and will keep this bookmarked until then!

Wooo yeah! I'm gonna enter this one. Not right now though. Later today. I just happen to have Dead Letters in my discman, but my batteries are dead, and this pooter won't let me listen to CDs. I prefer to listen to music when I write. But yeah, I will be coming back to write for this!
