Thank you to all of you that will be considering entering!

The contest will be judged on the following criteria:

allpoetry.com/Column/446864

Allo everyone!

This is a special contest as it's the first time I've done one with an adult theme! I want you to express your views on sexuality! There are a few options in this contest, I'm pretty open minded and liberal - no doubt you will find an option to your taste!

By the way:

I'm having loads of contests at the moment! I'm sure you will all find one that will interest you!

allpoetry.com/Contest/879462 - Sexuality
allpoetry.com/Contest/879405 - Christmas Time
allpoetry.com/Contest/879437 - To the Beat
allpoetry.com/Contest/879441 - Acrostics!
allpoetry.com/contest/881953 - Being In Love

Options:

1. What's your views on same sex marriage? Do you think marriage is exclusively between a man and a woman? What do you think of same sex relationships outside marriage?

2. Have you been in a same sex relationship - what was it like? Did people treat you differently?

3. Write a steamy poem! Make it... HOT! Erotica is obviously allowed here! Same sex shenanigans or affairs outside marriage.. I'm not really fussy! Just make it as steamy as possible! I don't mind graphic, but no sexual abuse or child sex please... just not nice. At all

4. First time sex, what did you think about it? Did you enjoy it? Maybe your lusting over someone and you can wait to show them what you want to do!

5. Your dream date.. your ideal man! Describe him.. in detail

I SHALL LEAVE IT TO YOUR SWEET AND INNOCENT IMAGINATIONS!

Basically sex, lack of it, too much of it, lust, affairs.. basically an episode of Eastenders! If your young, write about relationships, fancying people, lust etc Write whatever you deem appropriate

Because of the variety of options, I'm not going to put this in the adult category as i think since under 18s can write about their love for the opposite sex, the same should apply to same sex relationships. All i ask is that if your work is of graphic content, please follow the site rules and put it under the adult category to protect the younger members of the site!

I will allow short stories and poems here! Just try not to make them too long as i don't have all the time in the world to judge this contest!

Right the prizes are:

1st 300 points
2nd shiny trophy
3rd shiny trophy

Before you enter, PLEASE read the rules!

The rules:

1. One entry per person. I have allowed prewrites but i will only accept 30 entries

2. No sTiCkY cApS

3. Swearing where appropriate is allowed and erotica is allowed (and encouraged).

4. You MUST use spell check before you post your poem.

5. Short stories and poems only please. Please put poems in the appropriate category.

6. Comment on at least one other persons entry in the contest (a proper critique not just Good Job whatever..  ) and say who you commented on in your Authors Comments

7. Comment on my poem, Cremation. I want a discussion and proper critiques! I need to improve my work so i need your honesty here. Good job.. i feel the emotion etc isn't really a critique and will be ignored. If you commented on my other poem, Love To the Beat don;t worry! You wont have to critique again!

allpoetry.com/Poem/879498 - Cremation

8. If you don't follow ALL the above rules your entry will be disqualified!

9. Just to show that you've read all these rules, please put the following lines into your authors comments:

into this night i wander
it's morning that i dread

I know it's lame but experience from previous contests has shown me that people often just submit prewrites and dint bother following the rules :S

Good luck all!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 22, 2004
  • Rewards: Gold: 300
  • Final notes:
    Heya everyone

As always these contests are NOTORIOUSLY hard to judge. This one was so difficult to judge and the standard of entries never ceases to amaze me. In response to this, I've decided to offer 4 Honourable mentions to:

    His Smile by Marcellus
It Makes Sex Look Like A CHURCH by MaybeHellisUp
    Straight Line by jelliedashes
    Us by TexasT

Each of you win 10 points. For those of you who have won nothing, I hope by entering this contest you have received some valuable feedback on your poetry. I wish you all the best of luck in your poetry writing and I hope none of you will feel angry with the final decisions or with winning nothing - because all the poems here were truelly excellent

Take care of yourselves and I hope you enjoyed this contest as much as I've enjoyed holding it.

    Love and Peace
    xx Pinky xx

Wow, just want to thank you for placing this second- It is part of a much larger cycle that I have decided to place into comp. Already Death, Fear and Shame have all placed and I really want to thank you this as I loved writing this as each section, although similar in structure, completely different in themes.

hank you for all those who commentted and I really enjoyed this comp. It was well run and congrats to the other winners as there were some great entries in this, so thank you
