A few rules to begin with
1. I'd really prefer free verse. Occasional rhyming is fine, but not all over the place. That tends to irritate me.
2. No erotica, I can't read it.
3. Nothing about cutting, please.
4. No prewrites. If you feel you have something amazing already, IM me and I'll check it out. But I'm just going to disregard any prewrites that are entered without letting me know first.
* The entry does not have to be about silence. In fact, the subject has little effect on my judging. I just want to see if other people can find the beauty in this writing style. *
I'm bored by a lot of the contests on this site right now... so... I want something to encourage creativity in all you guys.
I'd love to read something that looks really cool. Play around with spacing, brackets, parenthesis, etc. Make use of silence.

- Final notes: Man... some of these entries were fantastic. I'm glad I chose to have a contest after not hosting one for such a long time. I chose the entries that really followed what I asked for and expanded on it... they were artistic in every sense of the word and made you think about what they were saying... aka... amazing. lol.

I would give anything for silence at times...as a matter of fact , i started a thing called " Echoes of silence' So far there are only 2 , but I plan on adding to them as i find more pictures that would be appropriate. I hope you will get some good entries and enjoy the silence
