This One's For the Girls

HI Ya'll!!! YAY!!! I finally have enough points to do this contest that I've been wanting to do FOREVER! This is my first contest so don't be too hard on me.
So, this contest is for the girls... actually anyone can enter but it is FOR the girls.  What I want you to do is write a poem, song...whatever for girls.  You can write it about what they go through, what they think about, some of their problems, some of their dreams...well, you get the idea.  Guys you can participate in this too, (not like I'll actually check or anything) but I don't want it to be about how you're in love someone or anything like that.  I don't want to hear about your love life (right now at least, hehe).  I want you to show me a girl's heart.  You know that song, "This one's for the Girls."  That’s where I got the idea for this very cool contest.  I'll just write the chorus...

"This one's for the girls,
Who’ve ever had a broken heart,
Who’ve wished upon a shooting star.
You're beautiful the way you are.
This one's for the girls,
Who love without holding back,
Who’ve dreamed with everything they have,
All around the world.
This one's for the girls!"

O.K. so hopefully you get the idea right now.  If not you can ask me.  I want you to write me a poem that makes me laugh or cry... something that girls can relate too.  Please don't give me the old sayings that girls always here.  I want some new thought or piece of advice that makes me really think.  Something that inspires me.  Come on there are TONS of things you could write about!!!

*Rules...*
~ EROTIA, SWEARING ETC. ETC. ETC.  I’m very picky about that
~BE ENCOURAGING!!!  Please don't be totally depressing.  It doesn't have to all be bright and happy, just leave a bit of hope at the end—some advice or hope that girls can hold on to.
~Be nice and comment on someone else’s work.
~Prewrites (drum roll please) ARE allowed BUT (there's always a big but, I know) you must add something new too. You can do as many entries as you want, but I might change my mind if I get a ton of entries.
~Have FUN!!!!  Give me your BEST!

*Not-really-rules-but-I-don't-know-what-else-to-call-'em*
~For those that know me in person... you CAN enter but I'm going to be VERY tough on you because I want to be fair and all.
~If you want to make me happy (hint hint) you /could/ comment on my songs on this topic-- "Girls, we Dream," "Would someone love me?" and “At this Age.”  That will also help you out on what I want (except you guys can write a whole lot better than me).  BUT I'm not gonna check or anything.

Well, I think that's it...  Tell me if you have any questions or you need more time or something.  I love comments!!!  HAVE FUN FUN FUN!!!
Give me your (beware--grammatical errors ahead!  If that's your pet peeve, close you eyes!)  out-of-the-ordinary-est, deepest, amazingest, sweetest, coolest, butifullest, bestest poem/song that you've ever written!!!!!  This one's for the girls (a worthy cause, I'd say... So stop reading all my rambling and IMPRESS ME!!!
~Stephanie

    FINAL NOTE!!!!
O.K. Finally I’ve finished this contest and I have to say all of you are SO talented... I loved reading your poems.
It was interesting hearing about all the problems girls go through and the advice you all gave. And since you guys, er girls, gave me your opinions it’s my turn to talk! I agreed with a lot of you... even in the hard times we got to keep going, stand firm, and not let anyone treat us less than we are. BUT what’s gotten me through my tough times is my absolute very best friend, Jesus Christ. I know a lot of you hate him, but here me out--honestly, girls, he is the best friend a girl could ever had. He’s my daddy that hugs me when I’m crying. He’s my security when I go through change. He understands me when everyone else doesn’t. He’s always there, never changing, never hating, never moving, just loving me the way I need to be loved. He’ll never think I’m weird or fat, or ugly, or annoying or boring. He’ll never use me or take advantage of me; he loves me for who I am. He can fill the place in my heart that boys can’t fill. He can forgive me when I’ve totally blown it completely. He’s my peace when my world seems to fall to pieces...He’s my everything. He can be your daddy too. He’s just waiting to pick you up in his arms and say, “I love you.” Who wouldn’t want a best friend like that? So, girls, and guys too, I encourage ALL of you to look for him. He rocks!
Though there was only one option I got a huge diversity of poems which made it hard to judge! But the final winners are.....

    1st place.... Girly-ness by SouthernBell!!!!!!!!
And the prize...an all expense paid two week vacation to Hawaii!!!! Yeah, right, you wish. How about 311 points, and I’m adding you to my favorites.

I have one that would be perfect for this contest, but it already won a bronze, and I think it's tacky to submit a poem that's already won something. lol. Otherwise, I'll have to come up with something new. I like this contest idea.

I really don't care. You can enter if you want. I'll probably be more picky on yours just to give other people a chance but I'd love to read yours anyway.
