This Gift I Give To You (Eternal Flames)

WELCOME
I want to give a little something to Eternal Flames (Honesty Abound's sister Dana).  Right now she's feeling very sad about Jani.  She misses her a lot. For those of you who do not know,  Honesty Abound, (Jani) died Sunday at noon. Dana (Eternal Flames) is her sister.  I want to give her hope and to remind her that although Jani is not with us in body she will always be with us in spirit.  Please make your poem a message to Eternal Flame aka Dana.  I want her to feel that she has become part of our extended family and that we are here to listen and to give her support if needed.

UPDATE: IT LOOKS LIKE THE DEATH OF HONESTY ABOUND DIDN'T REALLY HAPPEN.  RUMORS HAVE IT THAT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A SCAM FOR MONEY.  SEVERAL PEOPLE CALLED TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE HONESTY ABOUNDS (JANI) FUNERAL WAS GOING TO BE.  THERE WAS NO RECORD OF HER DEATH AT THE MEDICAL EXAMINERS, POLICE, OR NEWSPAPER OBITUARY.  ETERNAL FLAME WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HER SISTER HAD ASK THAT DONATIONS FOR THE FUNERAL BE SENT TO A SPECIFIC BANK IN HONESTY'S NAME BECAUSE THEY HAD LACK FUNDS FOR THE FUNERAL. SINCE THEN SHE HAS SINCE LEFT ALLPOETRY AND SHE HAS SOMEHOW CLOSED THE GROUP THAT HONESTY ABOUND HAD STARTED.  I STARTED THIS CONTEST BECAUSE OF WHAT I THOUGHT WERE GOOD INTENTIONS ON MY PART.  I WANT TO THANK ALL THOSE THAT DID ENTER.  YOUR POEMS WERE ALL VERY WELL WRITTEN AND I THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO ENTER. I WILL STILL AWARD THE POINTS AS PROMISED.  I KNOW YOU ALL WROTE FROM YOUR HEART.

    I was thinking of doing something for Dana as well. She is such a great person... just like her sister. The love shared will be forever cerished.

    This whole thing saddens me and I am sorry that all of you have been put thru this ringer. I did not know the poet Honesty abounds, but I do know many who were her friend and have suffered thru all of this tragedy and apparent hoax. It truly sickens me that someone would take advantage of such a lovely group of people. I hope we all get answers soon.
    Until then you are a dear person for putting this together, I truly hope there is a legitimate explaination.

    This is truely a shame that ppl would make up a scam as this in this community.I am sure they will recieve some bad karma for actions such as this. Bless you for being the kind person you are. I thank you for the trophy and will be sending points back to you. Jacki

    I knew neither Jani nor her sister Dana, but of course, word gets around any community when something happens, and AP is no different. I was so saddened to hear of the loss of yet another young poet on AP. In a way I was glad to hear it was a hoax because I do not handle death very well, especially if it's someone who goes way before their time...especially if by suicide cos I've always had the belief that if the person were to just hang on that wee bit longer, life would turn around for the better...and if they were to just cry out for help, they'd receive it, even on this site. BUT, this does anger me in ways because we HAVE lost some really wonderful poets due to illness, and a hoax such as this somehow overshadows the good ones that we DID lose. It's just beyond deplorable!!!!
    And damn this world and it's love of materialism and money, that it would make people so deceptive to gain it..even as far as falsely tugging on the heart strings of the great poets on AP..cos we know how sensitive writers are!!!
    I just want to thank the people who put 2 and 2 together and found out this was in fact a hoax and for revealing it to us all. go out to all who thought Jani and Dana were their friends..may you at least find comfort in knowing your friend has not passed on, and may she be able to make it up to you some day. Take care everyone!
