Okay people this is my first contest…. well our first contest. Im doing this contest along with Cat (Capesoccergal32). This contest is all about expression of self. And showing what is in your mind, about doing whatever you want! So have fun!
Also, Short Stories are allowed along with Poems. I want you to pick one of the following subjects to write about:
1.) Write something sad…so sad I would cry
2.) Write romance..doesn’t matter how or whatever. It could be finding true love or about heartbreak…anything that has to do with love.
3.) War or history poems/stories…. such as about knights (like Jadedknight does) or about Samurai or about a solider who is facing war,etc,etc.
4.) Dark poems, suicidal is fine…or anything dark
5.) Angst hope…depressing but has a thread of hope in it.
6.) Personal experiences
7.) Make me have to think…something deep
Now I hate to do this..but of course every contest has to have rules.
1.) 1 prewrite allowed
2.) Up to 4 poems/stories are allowed per person
3.) No sticky caps. ItS AnNoYiNg….
4.) Please no erotica
5.) Sorry but no haikus in this contest…even though I like them..im just not in a mood for them right now..so sorry but no haikus.
6.) Put ‘Metallica Rules’ In your author box so I know you read the rules.
Okay now for what you will get if you win:
First place= 300 pts
Second place= 30 pts
Third place= 10 pts
Sorry about the horrible prizes but we don’t have a lot to work with….but either way enjoy ^_^…

Just a word of warning, allowing prewrites on such broad and well represented topics will have you swamped with entries.
If this is what you want, best of luck to you. If this isnt, I suggest you get rid of the allow prewrites option..
