- Final notes: what can i say?...every last one of these entries touched me so deeply but there can be only three trophies and one winner...i chose onyx dragons poem as the winner because she has been through the same tragic loss as my best friend and it truly made me cry...i wish her happiness in the future and blessings xxx...frankiedoodles took second for writing about a subject that touches me to tears and for doing it so elequently...well done frankie....and planting wisteria by serenem was wonderful it also affected me deeply because of a friend i lost too...all of you did a great job...thank you for entering...leanne xxx...p.s look out for more one hour contests i have points to burn!

Woot! I JUST made it with like a minute to spare...And I wrote a new one too! YAY. Block is gone..does a dance Man..that write made me start to cry as I was writing it..brought some chilling memories back...Heh, watch me have the dream again

Thank you so much for the gold. hugs I'm so sorry for your friends loss, though I know there is little I can say or do, as there is little anyone can say or do to ease my own pain. I'm only glad I have writing as a means to release all the pent up anger and frustration. Many poems I've written about Damian, yet each one still brings me to tears. I wonder sometimes whether or not I will ever be over him, but the answer is hard to really see. Maybe, maybe not.
