First let me say that Ani DeFranco is an artist of unparralelled ability.I adore her music as does my sixteen year old daughter.If you need a preferred member to be in your Ani Group I would LOVE to volunteer.I will definately be entering as soon as I sit down and scribble from my heart.I will have to get a nice bottle of wine,some of my Ani cd's and just let the words flow.GREAT idea here.Blessed be and have fun with this.I am sure I will read most if not all of the entries so everyone...be prepared for glowing comments!!Blessed be

great topic to right about but i wish i didnt have righters block thers so many contest i wish i could think of things to right for but cant and its killing me but if i think of anything to enter i will good luck to all that enter and have fun judging.

I cannot live up to her brilliance. This is a magnificent contest idea, and a tribute to one of the most inspiring modern voices. Count me in if you are starting a group.
Also: look out for our forthcoming Leonard Cohen contest, if that sort of thing is your bag. -
As many have said, her genius is unparalleled... if you started an Ani group I would join in a heartbeat. I have to write something and then I'll enter it as soon as I remember, of course. What a fabulously wonderful idea; I'm jealous I didn't think of it first
