Ok so as I just finished my first contest after, I am now wanting to have another...ok so my mom is right I am addicted to the computer and this site. O well, do you think I care? NO!!!
So contest overview...its about pretty much anything, just please read all the rules and items that go with the options. You have to talk to me about certain things or just check to make sure things are OB-KB. And I know I say this ends on my bday down there, but I DON'T want any bday poems, this is just to have fun and well I dont want to feel old.
So on with the rules and such....
*Rules*
1. NO computer speak (u, r, qt...hehe i made a sentence, and one I don't want to see) and NO sTicKy CaPs (it hurts my eyes and if it huts me to read the poem, I just won't read it, so do yourself a favor and don't use them)
2. You MUST use your spell-check and dictionary...I do not want to read...wear are my socks? when is should be Where are my socks?...get my drift ok
3. OK you ready for the no adult or erotica...well it ain't coming, I welcome erotica and since I have written adult things, they are ok.
4. Please try and comment on other people's poems, they love it and you know they might even return the favor, so then you'll love it. Lets make people happy...
5. You MUST have fun at all times
6. Ok cause Im lame I would like you type 'zagnuts' in the authors comments, if you don't have it, it doesn't matter, but it would make me happy if you did.
*Options*
1. LOVE ~ Well I am very much in a lovey dovey kind of life right now, met the man of my dreams, figuring out how to plan a wedding in 2 years, o yea...so LOVE is a YES on poetry
2. KIND ACTS ~ My mama and I went to dinner last night and saw this really poor guy get stood up, so we paid for his check, I want to see that kind of emotion in poetry, if its possible.
3. EROTICA ~ Yup I said it, well this contest is ending on my bday and that means I see my Christopher, lets get me all turned on to surprise him.mwahaha.
4. ROOMMATES ~ I get to know who my newest roommate is tomorrow, I would like you to write about living with someone new and going through the angst and fun of it all.
5. RANDOM ~ If you want this subject you shall have to IM me for your subject, it will be on some random article, fact or whatnot and that is where you shall start. Make it fun and gigglelishiss....if you don't know what I mean buy random, read my poem 'I love eggs'
6. If you cant pick from any of these, well you can IM me with the subject you would like and IF I approve then you can do it.
I also am NOT a fan of suess like rhyme poetry. Sure it can flow or even rhyme, butn please dont make it sound forced.
This shall only be a contest for 300 pts, if I can wrangle up some more points then by sure 2nd and 3rd will get something as well. There shall also be 5 honorable mentions.

Ok so thanks to Jacki D 2nd Place will now recieve 75 and 3rd shall recieve 25. ok. well that is if there are any other entries.

well i get your drift and i guess if it has a point to make then sure i can accept that, but i have read many a poem where they use words improperly without there being a reason...it just irks me is all. and i have to say that if you dont like my rules then please dont enter, i wouldnt want you to jepordize your poetic licence just for me.
