Room With a View - Contest for New Members of August

This contest is for the new members who joined in the month of August 2004!

If you could wake up every morning and look out your bedroom window at the perfect view, what would that view be? A cozy country dwelling? White sand tickled by a sapphire tide? A skyline full of tall buildings?  It’s up to you. Be inventive and explore the realm otherwise known as your imagination.

We want descriptions of a scene that you see from your window. What would the perfect view be? Stun us with your intense, beautiful imagery

 RULES

1. No prewritten poems. This means that your poem must be new, and written solely for this contest.
2. No profanity, erotica, sTiCkY caps, or chat slang such as: iz, wuz, ma, dat, neway.
3. No more than 2 entries per person,  but each entry must pertain to the contest topic and rules.
4. If you want to write a collaboration with another poet, the poet must also be a new member for August. You also will need to discuss how the prizes will be divided.
5. CRITERIA MUST BE MET IN ORDER FOR ENTRY TO BE CONSIDERED!

This contest will be judged by all the members of the AP Greeters.  You will know us by the green badge beside our user-names, and our green highlight in the “Users Online” box. It will close midnight USA time,  August 31st 2004. Judging will follow within a few days from closing.

If you have any questions, you may ask anyone on the Greeter Team.

Have fun!

This looks like it will be a rather imaginative contest, since people have very vast ideas on the perfect view.
