~~STORMS~~ (prewrites allowed)

This is my fourth contest, and I am really exited to have racked up the points for it. I Love having contest, and I think because it's summer now, people will enjoy this one.

I would like you to write me a short story or poem, about a storm, it can be one you imagined, it could be something that you remember, or has great meaning to you, and it happened while in a storm, it can be based on a movie that had a storm in it, such as The perfect Storm, Twister, another movie with a storm in it, anything about storms I will love.

Or if you don't wanna write about weather... write about poem about a personal storm, between you and someone else, that would be really cool too.

Write about the clearing of a harsh storm, either with weather, or your life... but use it as like a metaphor...

If you want to read my poem about storms that inspired me to hold this contest go to my poet page, and Click on poem; Storm of lost innocence.

OK now the rules

1. profanity is OK, but not too much of it, be tasteful
2. if it's going to be erotic, not too much, I am 16 and I don't think the site would like that, and don't put it under erotica... I actually want to read the poem!
3. Use some big words, that will make me have to go to dictionary.com so I can understand it, i need to expand my vocabulary...
4. please use spell check

OK have fun

This looks like a great contest to me. I love electrical storms. Love to lay in bed and listen to them. Or sit in and watch them. I also love snow storms as long as I don't have to drive in them. I hope to come up with something for your contest. I will book mark it. Just so busy with the contests of my own....well....you will find out. Have fun with your contest. Cheryl

this looks like a good contest, I've entered two of my storm related prewrites... might do a fresh one, if you allow more than two per person.

Great contest! "Storms" have been a great source of excitement and entertainment to me since I was a young child out dancing in the rain! I've always loved the rain, the awesome flashes of electricity lighting up the dark sky, and the powerful boom and rumble of the thunder that follows. Magnificent! Thanks for sponsoring this contest, I will enjoy this, whether I win a trophy or not. Reading the entries is a reward of its own!

    Best wishes,
    Moses

    Mmmm, storms, yippee!!
Man, just the contest for me, I LOVE storms!! And it really is perfect timing (in some ways for me) as here it currently is thundering out, and has been frequently over the past week!!

But this summer has been really really hectic for me and my writing and computer time are very limited now, so I can't guarentee anything for you here, but I hope you get lots of amazing entries, and have fun!!

    Good luck

    Christine

Congratulations to the other winners... I tried to read all the entries, there was some stiff competition in this. I bet she had a tough time judging.
