Okay, right. ten choices for you lucky ducks:
i) I want you to describe your confusion. Don't tell me why you are confused, just what you are feeling. Use lots of imagery, metaphor, and all those handy little bits of poetry jargon, for this one.
ii) I want you to put yourself into the shoes of someone you really don't like, and tell me how they feel. Don't be biased, be them.
iii) Tell me about when you go crazy, gigglemad crazy, and why.
iv) Describe the weather and how it makes you feel. I like poems about how bad weather makes you feel good. Again, use simile, whatever, on this.
v) Use repetition in a poem about anything, without making me yawn.
vi) Write about why ducks are lucky. I want mock seriousness for this.
vii) Write about the moment when you feel most ill at ease, most awkward, or embarrassed.
viii) write me a legend, knights in golden armour and princesses included, if you want.
ix)Write about how seven is the perfect number.
x) write about the worst Christmas you ever had.
In all of these i want lots of imagery, and feeling. Use a form if you like - rhyme, if you like, But no cheesiness.
rules:
no swearing, or erotica - too young.
tell me which choice you have chosen.
sorry, no prewrites. i want original.
These can be short stories, or poems. i don't mind!
just two entries. i want one good one rather than six rubbish ones please!
No cheesiness, please!!
Points(!!!):
1st - this one had better be a masterpiece - 350
2nd - 50
3rd - 25
enjoy!
(closes on June 14th)
NOTE: i have extended the time by two weeks, because i don't have many poems... please tell anyone you know on allpoetry about this, it's a good contest. really.

Oh, thanks for extending the date on this. I just found the contest, and I do want to enter something for it. I am as someone else said above, a little brain dead right now. I hope I can come up with something for it. Well, actually I am getting a little of my inspiration back, so I will work on this.
. Now I have time to enter something.

WOW, this was a surprise. I wasn't sure if my poem even hit the criteria you'd set out, glad to see I didn't take too much creative freedom... thanks for holding such a great contest and for the honor of gold.
