1. No erotica
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. Keep Swearing Minimal (it's OK, but nothing invective)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3. You MUST comment on Twol0st2bf0und's poems! This is a must, she is new and her poems rock, I will be checking, so you had better! She only has two poems as of right now, and those are the only ones you are required to comment on
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. This must be in poem format, no stories, it doesn't have to rhyme, but that would be very intellectual of you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5. OK enough of this crap, get to writing, tell your friends, and have fun
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first place poem gets 300 points
The second will get 100
and the third will get 50
If I have extra point I will award them to the person that has left the most comments on other peoples entries
    A better in depth definition of trepidation: A state of alarm or dread; apprehension.
    It was one of my vocab words back in high school english class. At my school if you were in honors english, you had to take a vocab class too, so I had many of these words.
    If I can find the time to write something decent, I'll enter
    I have so many of these words in my working vocabulary that it doesn't make sense lol. I too was in honors (and "advanced placement") English classes most of my life, but started studying the dictionary out of pure boredom when I was 12. Now, people ask me the definitions to most words! I did see a few that I wasn't aware of beforehand. I think this is a great challenge and a wonderful way to get people to expand their vocab. If I can think of something before this contest closes, I'll be sure to write something for you.
    Have fun!
    Many blessings,
    Raven Aurora
    Cool contest. I use a lot of these words so often; I'm such a nerd. LoL. But there are a few up there that would stump me. Good luck with the judging!
    I will attempt this, though I think most of mine will be in the wrong context! (oops) Though it's a really good idea for a contest, especially for younger, and less experienced poets. Extending our vocabulary is never a bad thing. Good luck judging.
