one of the most interesting thing I have enjoyed about this site is the names that the poets use.they range from comical to mystical and much in between.I have read poets based on their names alone.but what's in the names you guys have chosen.this is what my second contest will be asking.I want you to put into poetic form the brief history of your screen name.does it reflect who you are?is it a nickname given to you?how much does it tell of your character or your poetic prowess.how did you decide on this name?I have in my mind, related to the person a personality trait to go with the name.for example,queen,to me personifies the couplet.she is the queen of it,but why does she use the name queen.poetryality brings reality to the whole game of poetry,but what inspired her name.does musestalker stalk her muse or does her muse stalk her?either way,she is a great poet,but why that particular name.so show me your inspiration for your name.it can get you 500 points.I am a lover of rhymes,so yes,it will give you an edge.however I have seen some awesome free verse on this site,so i can be unbiased.as much as I love acrostic,they will not be permitted in this.they are fine when someone else writes about you,but they can't get the depth I want as you write about yourself.also,the title of the poem must include your site name but it can't be only titled by your site name.you can write in any form,any mood or poetic genre you choose.even erotic,not too explicit,but if eroticism played a part in your choice of names,go for it.the one other thing I want is a little details and that would mean a little length here.i don't know why people are afraid of long poems.I mean don't write a book,but don't hesitate to talk about what's in your name.
