ANYWHO, laughter is the best medicine . . . I believe that with my heart and soul. Usually I write dramatic poetry, since I find it easier that majority of the time, but I do truly enjoy humorous poetry. Most so poems in the "Humor" category can bring a smile, and yeah, that's sweet . . . but the ones that make me laugh, now that's REALLY something.

But as for this particular contest, I want you to do your worst . . . or your best, to make me keel over in laughter. Brighten my day, and you'll be repayed. Your choices for this humorous poetry contest are fantasy, weird, lyrics, personal, or anything else that you see appropriate. Although, I do not want to see any erotica or adult content submitted into this contest. They will not be judged. And keep the profanity to a minimum. Some is alright, but please don't make every other word f** . . . that's just stupid. Also, dO nOt WrItE lIkE tHiS pLeAsE! Check your spelling and grammar! Don't worry about an entry limit, just enter as many as you feel fit . . . 100 is pushing it though . . . heh But other than that, I want for you to have fun with this, just as much fun as I'm going to have judging it! Go ahead, unleash your inner child . . . and make me laugh!

Plus, you do not have to comment on my work, though it'd be nice, I won't hold it against you. But I would like to encourage you to critique work, may it be entries to this contest, or anything else. Doesn't it make you feel good, to know that people are reading your work? Then, return the favor!

Why thank you all for the lovely comments . . . Black Lace, humor and I don't usually mix either, which is one of the reasons I made this, for inspiration! I enjoy humor better than drama, but have trouble writing it, you know what I mean? But I love reading other's funny stuff, and efforts as well, so just give it your best, all of you. Even if you don't win, you tried, and the effort's worth it, to me at least. I need more entries now though, so write people, please! Hehe
