Contest Forgivness by JLynn-4God

Sector-Hunter and I will be judging this contest.
This contest is going to be about God's forgiveness. There are so many people who think that they have done so much that God could never forgive them. So for the Christians out there write a poem about God's forgiveness. How He has forgiven you. You can use a scripture to write one. Anyway you want. As usual no form. One day I might but not now.

Rules:
No bad language
No bashing God
No erotica
and sorry No prewrites. It takes the fun out of it all.

Be cool let the feelings flow. Let God speak to you.
With Love,
   Jenna and SH

This was an awesome contest. I would have let it go longer but I won't be here this weekend. So I cut it short. I litteraly couldn't pick a winner. I loved every one of the poems. It's a good thing SH was there other wise I wouldn't have been able to. lol... Thank you so very much for entering this contest. God Bless you all. I hope your words touched someone.

Longing to love the unlovable. That's God's business we should learn about because if people could do this at times, maybe the unlovable would be thankful. Great idea!

God really works in amazing ways. I have recently been struggling with forgiveness.

I love my grandma, but I don't always like her. She chose not to come to my graduation last year, but on a whim, came up for the weekend to attend my Dad's community band concert. Her son works for an airline, so she travels ALL THE TIME. Also while she was here, she called my uncle a day after his oral surgery. When I had oral surgery in January, she didn't even ask how I was doing when she was talking with my Dad a month later.

Please pray for me - for the strength, heart and willingness to forgive. I love my Grandma and I want to do right in the eyes of God.

Thank you for this contest and I wish you all the best in it This has helped in more ways than you know . . .

Oh well man. I'm not going for cool. I'm just speaking my mind. I think all you people are brainwashed. A biblethumper is someone that is always talking about god and trying to force it on everyone else. So there's the answer to your question, wanker.

    a little biased perhaps?

Hmmm... Seems to me that you're trying to force your unbelief in God on us... :-) I see contests for cutting and suicide poems and poems for pagans up fairly often, what's wrong with an uplifting and upbeat Christian poetry contest? I can understand your wanting to speak your mind, but please try to be a little more civil in expressing your opinions. Also, I wonder how many non-christian contests there are that you have so honestly/bluntly commented on? I think that this is a wonderful contest idea, and I am going to enter.
