Hey...This is my first contest. I want this to be about anything!!! It doesnt matter how long or short it may be, just dont make it drag on, and on and on and on and on and on...get it? Good! Dont worry about cussing, it doesnt offend me in any way..i would prefer if you didnt make racial remarks tho, those can be a very sensitive subject, and i dont want any problems in these. I will try to comment on each and every poem, but im not sure where i will get the time! Maybe i shouldve had this last week during spring break? hmm..lol! Anywho~ I love reading all poetry, whether it be love, angst, self-abuse..etc!! And dont worry, im not favoring people who i know, just because i know them! I am a fair person.

#1. Pre-writes are allowed!! I understand that maybe you have a fave of yours, and just wanted to see how it would do in my contest, OK! cool beans! lol..it makes no difference to me!
#2. In your author comments, add the line "AshCakes, AshCakes, We all fall down!" hehe... i was always teased with that, b/c of my name, and its silly...so yea!
OK...since like barely anyone follows this rule, and i dont feel like
b!tchin and tellin u to put it in there...this rule is now......
OPTIONAL!...lol...yes, im wayyyyy too nice!
#3. Have FUN! Poetry should not be like a job, that you feel you are forced to write, the best stuff is the kind that flows from your heart!
~You may enter as many poems as you wish! But, i dont want to be reading every single poem that you have ever written! PLease, use common sense, there are already MANY entries!~
There will be 2nd and 3rd place winners as well (as long as i figure out how to do that!) Not sure yet how many pts you will receive as runners up, but it will be sumthin!!!

Great contest. I was looking for a contest where someone could judge the poem I wrote a few days ago though I don't remember how I came across your contest... weird... anyways, you're going to have eleventy billion entries into this contest and though I doubt mine will win it would be nice just to get some feedback on it.
