Finally,I'm ready for my first contest.I have had many ideas,but they all seemed to be taken as soon as I got them.Anywho- - - -!Here goes!I AM VERY FOND OF LOVE POEMS.YES!LOVE POEMS!But here's the twist to my contest.Below you will find a list of 50 love songs titles.they are only a fraction of my favorite ones,but they are ones that I love.You may or may not have heard of them,but the artist's name is not listed,so it's hard to say.
What I want from you is for you to choose a title from the list and compose for me a love poem according to the title you choose.This can be any type of love.Breakups,first-sight,undying,unrequited,mad,crazy,insane love.Even sensuous love.Not sex,but love.Love can be erotic,I just don't want the explicits details of what it can lead to.
You must be able to make me feel the love in these poems.Now,like i said,some of you may know these songs,but remember,they are some of my favorites,so if the poem resembles the song too closely,I will know.It's grounds for disqualification.
This is a contest that will give 1500 pts to the first place winner,so I want emotion,emotion and more emotion.So what if I cry.You are allowed five entries per person,but each entry must be written from a different title.There are no prewrites allowed.Sorry.
Now,one other thing.I am a lover of rhymes.The best rhyme scheme will be given extra consideration.That's not to say that I won't be fair in judging all forms.I am looking for a "bookmark moment"out of these entries.That's why I'm willing to give up the points.There will also be 10 honorable mentions that will receive 25 pts each.This is a contest for anyone who chooses to enter.

Great idea...I know quite a few of those songs you listed, and have even written a poem entitled "Breathe Again". I guess I'd better try one of the other ones since you're giving away so many points... I've never given more than 450 in a contest, even though I have well over enough to give away 2,000 or more... lol

This is a very intriguing contest
So many titles to choose from! I haven't written many love poems...they always seem a bit more difficult for me...more because I haven't really found true love...but I may try this anywayz...always up for a challenge GOod luck with your contest and good luck to all who enter!
