Ok, this here is my first contest. So, be nice. I'm making it about my favorite movie "Boondock Saints". If you haven't seen it I suggest you do. One thing, there is a lot of cussing in it so... It's only about $10 at any place that sells movies. So, I hope that many of you will go buy it because a sequel is being filmed this spring. If you want to know what the movie is about before you get it here's the synopsis:
When the sadistic Russian mob starts muscling in on their South Boston Irish Neighborhood, Connor and Murphey McManus know what must be done. Feeling that the vengeance of God is flowing through their veins, they set out to rid the streets of gangsters, criminals, and lowlifes. As the body count rises, the brothers become local heroes. Now, one unorthodox FBI agent must be cunning enough to bring them down. Starring William Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Delle Rocco, and Billy Connolly
Rules, rules, rules. I hate this part, I really do. So many restrictions, I'll try and make it easy.
1. You MUST watch the movie or have seen it.
2. Pick a scene and write something about it also tell me the scene you chose.
3. Pick a quote from the same scene and use it in your write make sure to put it in quotes, just so I know which line you used.
4. Cussing is an almost must, but if you can pull it off without, good for you.
5. If you can write Erotic about this congrats, but that might be a little odd for a movie about Irish men going vigilante.
6. I'll allow pre-writes, if they happen to fit the restrictions.
7. And just so I know that you've read through all of this put "E nomini patri, e fili, e spiritu sancti" in the author notes.
I think that that's about it. I hope that people will go and watch the movie, because it is just that good, unless you don't like a lot of foul language. Good Luck.

Boondock Saints is a kick ass movie! Can't wait to see the sequel..been waiting awhile for it. Glad to see another fan of it. I will work hard to create something interesting for this.

I saw that movie on cable and it was edited for language so I bought it on dvd for $10 and I found out they are making another one coming out either this year or the next.
I like the premise of the movie, but, I won't be doing the contest. It really, to me, isn't that challenging.
