It's my birthday on Tuesday, A day to indulge myself!!...so here is what I would like for this contest:-
write me a poem using one or more of the following choices,
1)Find one of my poems that really stands out to you ..then write a poem about how and why it affects you
2)write a poem to convince me that my being 45 is something to celebrate!
3)Take me to dinner for my birthday and on to somewhere of your own choice after dinner.
Rules.
1)no less than 20 lines
2)I have no preference of style or form even though I write in rhyme myself ..so anyway you write stands as much chance as any other.
3)no pre-writes it's my birthday and I want this to be personal.
4)use spell check...nothing spoils a great poem more than bad spelling for me.
5)if you enter more than once please don't use the same choice twice..that makes a maximum of 3 entries per person.
6)all choices can contain humorous..serious...critical..whatever material you want!...enjoy the contest....and thanks to all who decide to enter xx

- Final notes: Well first of all I have to say that every single one of these poems will be treasured and I want to thankyou all for entering...there were poems from people I know well...friends and some from people I have just met...I wanted to be fair in judging so I asked my daughter to choose the winners...she of course knows me and my poetry well!!.....I wish I had a trophy for you all

not only am i here to kiss you, but kiss you 45 times. i am here to heat you up and let you get out of line. as i strip and shake my hips. i will then take you in my arms carry you to the pool for a skinny-dip. as we all get in to play, we didn't care cuz it was your day. we wanted it to be fun, wild and care-free. who cares if we get a little crazy. we will have a whale of a time. as we continue to party to the end of the line. happy birthday leannewales from your striptease buddy theDARK1! -

I would like to point out to all my viewers that I DONT personally know of Leannewales or the 'numpty' who ditched her.
what I did with this piece was to absorb the phsycic energy that went into writing it then transcribe the feelings of his stupidity to print.
going by Leannes answer it seems to have 'strangely' worked...
Moral of the story:
if you put enough feeling and energy into your writing then your readers will be able to absorb these emotions and flow with you along your path of thought thus enabling contact between time and reality!!!
