I am usually not a self absorbed person but I thought, "Oh What the Heck," everyone does this so why shouldn't I be deserving as well. Everyone likes to be recognized right? 
My Birthday is next Wednesday(Yes Christmas Eve) and I could definitely use some cheer. I am going to turn 37 and I don't want to. I feel like am only 19 so the thought just does not seem real. Yes i know some of you out there are saying "Oh My God that is Old!" and others are saying,"What in the world is she complaining about."
Anyway I would just like some cheer and I will give you some choices on how to do that.
1) Write me a personalized Birthday Greeting that Hallmark would just drip with envy over!
2) Throw me a party that would be amazing and fun!
3)Write a Birthday poem in a different style of poetry other then the norm. Try and be creative.
4) Give me reason to believe 37 is not that bad!
Now for the rules!
1) No pre-writes(doubt anyone would have one anyway)
2) Enter as many times as you would like. So if you want to enter a poem for each category then be my guest. (Just please make them good)
3) put the category you choose either in the title or in the author's comments
4) If you pick #2 remember I want to have fun but I have a husband who might get jealous. I don't mind a touch of erotic but please don't make it a porno.
5) Write in any style you choose unless you choose #3 then use something creative and tell what the style is in your author's comments
O.K. that should do it for the rules and the contest. Now let's have fun! The poem that makes me the happiest on my Birthday will win.
