Write your final letter from death row in poetic form,
you can write this from any one of the following perspectives:
1) you are innocent but cannot get anyone to believe you.
2) you are guilty but not at all sorry for your crime.
3) you are guilty and extremely sorry for your crime.
4) you have lost your memory and truly don't know if you did it or not.
this is not a debate about the rights and wrongs of the death penalty...I want emotions...strong ones...frustration...anger....sorrow....hate....it's about feelings not debates.
As many entries as you like,
pre-writes welcome if you have something that fits,
any style you like, although I write in rhyme myself I like ANY form,
do use spell checker,
enjoy the challenge!!
first place 250 points.
second 150 points.
third 100 points.

Hey leanne, great idea! Ironically, I just saw something just like this on the local news tonight! A man who was accused of raping a girl which he didn't do and it took 20 years to find out that he was wrongfully convicted so he today they let him out. Sad. 20 years, for something he had nothing to do with.
Great idea! Good luck!

This is a heavy contest, I would have to reach deep down inside to even come to the place that someone must be in this situation. You must give me a moment to think this through. I will enter before I sign off today, because again I'll say, WHAT A CHALLENGE!
