Going for contest number three WHOA!!!
ANYWAYS, I wrote this poem called "A Mirror's Reflection" and starting thinking about what other people see when they look at their reflection so I came up with this contest. Basically, I want you to write me a poem about what you see in the mirror...how you see yourself...how the world is seen through a mirror....or something of the like. Just stare into the mirror and let ideas flood through your mind....
*Rules*
~It doesn't have to rhyme if you don't want it to
~It can be short or long, but do note that I have a short attention span
~You can enter up to 2 times
~It can be humorous, depressive, cheerful, hateful....whatever just don't put it in the abuse/adult category because I won't be able to read it
~It can be previously written, but new poems are always better
That's all the rules or the only ones that I can think of anyways.
HAVE FUN AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 23, 2003
- Rewards: Gold: 250
- Final notes:
SilverxXxShadow: This was so hard to judge with so many beautiful and well written poems. Well, the top three places are as shown, but there are others that deserve recognition as well: Showing Only Wicked Images, I See..., A Price to Pay, The Face I See, ???Mirror (A Poem In Reverse), ~*~All Within My Reflection Seen~*~, Truth Behind the Mirror, Looking at Myself I have One Desire, and No Greater Love. I enjoyed reading all the other poems as well, but those had to be my top favorites. Congrats to the champions...::smiles and bows to them:: I hope you all enjoyed the contest and had fun.

Oh and I'm sorry if I don't get to comment on some poems until the day I judge the contest...I have lots of school work to do. Some of my teacher's find it FUN to give out loads of homework every night....
So agian...I'm sorry, but I will comment on everybody's poem sooner or later.

it's ok don't worry about the commenting on a contest only worry about which poem appeals to you i've done a couple myself and as long as you don't keep it out too long no one gets all pissed :}

Dear SilverxXxShadow~
Congrats to everybody that entrered.
Thank you SilverxXxShadow for thinking of a lovely topic. I enjoyed enterinf and I look forward to entering many more of them. I must be way behind
or I'm just getting old, but I've Never heard of Westward, I may have heard their music (hubby has near 2500 CD's), but I don't recognize the name. But, Hey!! at least I know what a jawbreaker is as well as the old favorite--Kool-Aid (Grape is my favorite).
Great Contest Everybody!
