Swirling Mist of Harmony

Hi there and hello!  

This is my first contest!  YAY!  

In this contest:

I want you to write me a poem about Music and how it effects relationships, daily life, movies, etc.  

rules: (no groaning please)

1.  No previous writes (if you have a previous write that you feel works, let me know, and i will let you know...)

2.  Fowl language is allowed to a certain extent.  No more than necessary please!    

3.  I want to be touched by what you write.  I know my music, so make it good.

4.  Does not have to be positive, but i don't want a Music Nazi piece either.

5.  Please, no more than 100 lines, I'm not superwoman you know.  can be as short as you want.

6.  Enter as many times as you like

Have fun!  That's the reason we're all here.  I appreciate all of your entries, and even if you don't "win" it doesn't mean you wouldn't win in a different contest.  they're all judged differently.

    Are you going to extend the time for this contest? Just wondering as I don't have much time here at my folks place...no matter if not, I shall try and see what I can do...Darianna x

    Wow, I like the idea for the contest and I like how you laid the guidelines down plain and simple. I must say I was disappointed when I saw there were no pre-writes allowed but that's okay because it challenges me to write more. I attempted the contest and read through all the others and commented as much as I could and it looks like you'll have a fun time judging what you have thus far..hopefully you'll get some more entries-which you most likely will since there is more time left... Anyway, lovely idea for a contest...I love the music contests so much...I'm planning on majoring in music and it is the second most important thing in my life. Anyway, I'll shut up and let you read more of the actual poems. Good luck to everyone who entered and ...enters!! God Bless
