Prose Only

I have never written a piece in prose,
mainly because I fail at imagery and metaphor.
I was stunned by a write that I read today which was done in prose,
and now I can't help but wonder if it's possible for me
to spill onto paper the kind of brilliance that I saw in this write.

For this contest, I want you to bring me into the world of prose.

I'm willing to learn it and write it,
but the only way I can do that is by you teaching me,
so please give me your best.
