Contest Unrequited Love Sonnets by poets whisper

As the title suggests, write a sonnet about lost or unrequited love.

no erotica
no cursing

    Amazing ...

    how many of these entries are not sonnets. You'd think that anybody would know that a sonnet is 14 lines and 14 lines only. Then again, an AP poll showed that 70 per cent of the respondents didn't know who Walt Whitman was, so maybe it's not that surprising after all.

    I would say I am one who doesn't know.As far as your diplomacy it's amazing you don't know your ass from a whole in the ground.Well maybe not surprising.

      please can we all play nice? I sent out a message to everyone, just in case they don't know a true sonnet. Walt Whitman is the author of "Leaves Of Grass" among other things. I'll be having a quizz later on just for ecrivain01 I appreciate that someone wants the position as contest host but ... uh .... that would be ME
