Ok. This round will be different than last time.
1. I will have five different prompts- one for each of you.
2. You will reserve one prompt, whichever prompt you pick.
3. But there's a catch to it. I am going to make you choose the prompt BEFORE I let you see what the prompt is.
4. You may not change prompts after you have seen yours.
5. You may not choose a prompt someone else has already chosen.
6. The last person to enter will not get a choice.
7. There will be word banks, pictures, quotes, and so on.
8. If one of your previous poems (PW) fits the prompt, I will let you enter it.
9. You must include your prompt number in your Authors Notes.
10. Be a good sport- comment on at least one other person's entry.
11. If you do not follow these rules, I will give you a warning and 24 hours to fix it.
12. I reserve the right to DQ anyone who does not follow these rules and fails to fix it after a warning and 24 hours to do so.
Okay, with all that said and done, I will tell you what I give brownie points for.
1. Sensory Imagery/Descriptive Language
2. Good rhyme- not forced
3. A prewrite AND a fresh write on THE PROMPT I GAVE YOU
I may increase the points if I get donations, or if 3/5 of the entires are FANTASTIC, AWESOME, DAZZLING, AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, and FABULOUS.
Rewards:
Gold = 400
Silver = 350
Bronze = 300
Honorable Mention = 30
Okay, so the points are low. ANOTHER REASON TO DONATE AND PUT A SMILEY SMILE ON MY FACE! Also, that doesn't mean you don't have to work hard. I'm saying it now... "WORK HARD!" Because let me remind you: there are five of you, and only four are going on to the next round. I will give the honorable mention person 270 extra points because 30 isn't enough.
