Maya Angelou said that "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you". I've always loved that quote but I saw it again today and it inspired a contest lol.
I want poems on things that we can't talk about, maybe because they're too painful but mostly I want things that we can't speak about because nobody will listen. The subject is one that people don't want to hear or speak about and so it is ignored, brushed under the carpet.
The subject could be anything... some people aren't allowed to speak about things like sex or their father's drinking problem... so pretty much anything goes.
READ THE RULES! I AM ALREADY SICK OF CORRECTING PEOPLE! WILL NOT CONTINUE TO DO THIS, SOON WILL JUST START INSTANTLY DISQUALIFYING!!!

3. Any style of poetry you like.
