I am fascinated by this idea of a vibrational space-time matrix… that the real timeless, formless part of us is not here; that the mind is somehow attached to this character running around in the three-d matrix screen. Why do I believe that this body, this group of spacious moving oscillating specs called atoms and these cells which replace themselves every seven years is what I am? Are we sort of hypnotized?
What are the rules of the matrix? How do we use the rules for our overall best interest?
How do we exit the matrix?
Do we really exit at death or are we still in some vibrational matrix dimension?
What part does vibration play in the matrix?
Who is experiencing the matrix? Did we have a choice to come here?

I am fascinated about the idea of a mind-emotion matrix. You may find my ideas a little unorthodox, but this is the way I curently see it (always learning and changing my mind):
Vibrations abound in the subliminal realm of the matrix world. Thoughts that we believe in the mind create emotional vibes which we send and receive to each other and to nature. According to the Law of Attraction, fear attracts what we fear and judgments attract what we judge - to actually happen to us … in time. Of course, love attracts good things to happen. Love, without fear, just flows.
Also, believing that we are our thoughts, our programming ties us to the matrix. Our thoughts are just the matrix TV program we choose to watch, reaping the temporal consequences.
So, the ideas that we believe, conditioned from the time we were babies, are dramatically effecting our lives. Our minds are somehow tied into the matrix. We’re really not these bodies running around in the matrix. We’ve been self hypnotized to believe so. We volunteered for the earth trip. We are now beginning to understand the rules of the matrix and the light is coming for a better world. … my view of things.
Awareness will set us free!

Do you mean that "previously written" work will be allowed to enter ONLY on Sunday 8 November, or that it will be from then until the end of the competition?

Pre-writes will be allowed Nov 8 and from then on - until the end of the competition. The reason I do this - I have found that opening up to pre-writes from the beginning invites a lot of just barely related poems.
